Robert Ford

Dr. Ford has been teaching music appreciation online since 2000, having taught in the classroom prior to that time. Presently Dr. Ford is an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University, Tidewater Community College, Lord Fairfax Community college, and Washington State Community college (Marietta, Ohio).
As an active musician, Dr. Ford performs as principal trombonist with the Lakeside Ohio Summer Symphony, and the Eastern Virginia Brass Quintet. Formerly Dr. Ford Performed with the Virginia Symphony, and the Spokane Symphony. Former teaching positions include Virginia Beach Public schools (General Music) , and adjunct low brass teaching positions in the music departments of Old dominion University, Christopher Newport University, and Virginia Wesleyan college. Dr. Ford holds degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University (BA), University of Southern California ( MM), and the Catholic University of America (DMA).
